Mepitac 298300 Soft Silicone AnrpbM Review

I have to tape my eyes shut at night because they don't close properly. Mepitac is the only tape that doesn't hurt when I take it off. My doctor told me to use duct tape. Many people think that paper tape is soft, and it seems so because it's easy to put on and take off at first. But the longer you hold it, the stronger it sticks. If you leave it overnight like I did, it will be very painful to take it off. I just wish Mepitac wasn't so expensive to buy and ship.

Good product but not hypoallergenic. My glue allergy usually escalates a bit, so I was able to use it for a few weeks before I got a rash under the tape and thought it might be. It helped a lot in the first few weeks after removing the bandage and lasted 1-3 shower days at a time in the summer heat. This greatly facilitated early postoperative management. Just be careful if you are allergic to glue. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for the time I've been able to use it.

I had a tummy tuck a year ago. Compared to the $50 boxes they charge for scar patches, this product is good for my skin and really works. I have placed three orders for this material. I had VERY large scars on my chest. They used to be dark purple and raised. Since then they have turned pale pink and almost completely flat. This tape works great but not from this supplier/seller. I bought this band from another seller at Revain post surgery and it lasted a while and was great. When I bought it again from this seller the tape was very wrinkled and pulled up where the tape didn't touch the backing in several places throughout the roll. I have to overwrite a lot more often.
