I found this radio totally unsuitable for my purposes. The buttons are very small and the instructions are difficult to follow. The radio is very small, about the size of a clamshell phone; It couldn't be placed on a table or counter - it's too thin to stand. I wanted a radio that I can use while having breakfast, showering, etc. I don't wear hearing aids at this time of day. I found I didn't hear enough to use it. This could work for those who want to carry the radio in their pocket as long as the volume is good enough for them. My husband thought he would like to use it while walking. Later I found him studying instructions; I asked him what he was up to. He said turn it on.
