Okay, I'll admit this is primarily my fault, but I still feel the need to warn you, lest you make my mistake. I added 2 packs of 4 (8 total) to the cart. They cost just over $6 a pack (just over $12 for all 8 pads). Then I saw a recommended alternative to what appeared to be the exact same product from another seller (this is the product I'm reviewing) for just under $6 each, so I changed my order. I obviously wasn't paying enough attention as 2 packs of 1 came in the mail. Yes, just 2 small squares for almost $12 instead of 8 small squares for just over $12. Pooh. So frustrating. Now that we've got that out of the way, how's the product? Well I just bought them to put under my home theater speakers which would otherwise sit right on the wooden floor. I wanted something that would absorb noise and vibration. Unfortunately, these pads did next to nothing to dampen noise or vibration. You are too rigid; they don't seem to pick up anything. I think they are more suitable for something very heavy like a washing machine. . . probably.
