Using the stitch holes on the template you can fit the card into the pockets - snug but neat. However, I use the standard stitch depth of 1/8". Cards that size don't fit in at all. The problem with using holes in a template is that you have to punch each one individually, which is very tedious. Most leatherworkers have theirs own chisels which may or may not match the spacing of the holes in the pattern It's just not a well thought out set of patterns.
