They worked well in our Canon MF731C printer for 7 months. Then there was a black stripe on each page in the left fifth of the page and black particles running from the top of the page to the bottom. It was from a black cartridge. With the old original cartridge, the printer worked perfectly, but with a warning. Apparently the cartridges have a counter. Flushing the drum with isopropanol helped for a while, but the streaks returned. It looks like the only way out is to buy a new cartridge. The printer is used very frequently. Before this failure we were satisfied with the performance.
