Loved them and ripped the package open, but they were just too big. Exchanging for the exact same but smaller size. I think what it is: the base of the heel fits snug but in order to be the comfy slide-ons, the rest is very soft. I also have wide feet, so these provide plenty of room of you do, too! A little arch support as well, for thin-sock wearers to feel too! Even having said all of this, I recommend you size down.I can see how they might be hot in the dead heat of summer and maybe late spring, but they feel durable (cushioning is thick) for my intended wear and with the sole grip, a bit more so. Please consider!
