Edited - Grab a flashlight if you want to see

I'm editing this review and adding a star because my wife loves this little chandelier and she was upset that I only let her gave two stars. I hope she is happy now that I added a star. This is the case when "form is more important than function". My wife likes it because it's beautiful (shape). I don't really care about that because it doesn't light up well the small room it's in (feature). Original review - This is a very beautiful, small, very small chandelier. It creates a beautiful pattern on the ceiling. That's the problem. Read the description carefully. It uses two 40W bulbs. 80 watts of light is not much, even in a very small room. It doesn't make any sense at all for room lighting, except to create a "mood highlight". If you drop something on the ground, you'll need a flashlight to find it. It's also not an easy setup at all. Installing this light is not for the impatient or busy. You must attach each crystal strand individually by extending a tiny keychain-like ring and inserting one end of the image into an even smaller hook attached to the light fixture. Here is an installation tip. Don't use both hands to separate the ring and put it on the small hook. This will cause you to go crazy after about three strands of crystal (47 total by my count, but I could be wrong because I was counting in the semi-darkness of the light provided by this contraption). Instead, separate the ring and spread (i.e., bend) it just enough so that one end of the wire keychain is sticking out. This will make it easier to put the ring on the hook.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
