beautiful but with a jute/rope smell
Colors excellent, softness improved after hand wash and conditioner. But this scarf was initially almost unwearable due to the bizarre jute smell. I tried to get rid of it by hanging it on the street in a frosty wind - it didn't help. THEN hand wash in Woolite, THEN air dry, THEN tumble dry with some dryer sheets for a few minutes. The smell isn't completely gone, but it's getting better. If hand washed, the turquoise dyes will wash out, but will not affect the scarf itself.
