This is a great blanket for those who prefer not to heat their home to 22°C on winter nights and also prefer to avoid the electric blanket. Filled with hypoallergenic, down-like "Comforel" fabric. The outer seams are double stitched. There are also internal seams that separate the duvet into pieces and ensure the filling is held in place. The thread count is 330 and the color is immaculate white. Note that the duvet has two different weights: Vine gave me an "all year round" weight of 10.7 pounds. There's also an 8.7-pound "summer weight," and it's currently selling for about $20 less. I personally can't imagine using a duvet in the summer, no matter how heavy, so I'm happy with the 'everyday' weight. It's worth noting that the blanket is made in the USA, for which I say bravo. Brooklyn, of all places, has not yet been fully gentrified. A skill that has not yet been lost abroad. The quilt comes with a nice light and roomy storage bag, used in summer. I see no mention of a storage bag in the product description and would recommend the manufacturer to add one. So turn off the thermostat in winter, sleep better and more comfortably under this duvet, which can be paid for by simply saving on utility bills. Invoice. Overall 5 stars.
