I bought one of these and tested it with CrystalDisk. It was connected to the Gen2 port on my Sabrent Rocket Nano motherboard with the included 8" cable. Rocket Nano performed read/writes connected to this port at over 800Mbps, but using the included 8" cable. Although this cable is said to be certified for 20 Gb/s, it only operates at 400 Mb/s, or half the speed advertised by Rocket Nano. I contacted the company and they said the cable was bad and sent another. The second cable works the same as the first. Significantly worse rating. Save money and try something different. You give me the money back.
