I love this camera. I bought a Canon PowerShot G16 before I went on a year long trip around the world. I didn't want to lug around my Canon T3i DSLR, so instead I decided to use it as a lighter, more comfortable camera. Point and shoot, it does a lot of things your DSLR can do, it can record in RAW mode and it has full 1080p video recording capabilities. The video quality is absolutely amazing, it has built-in video stabilization and can record excellent quality video in shaky conditions and low light. I'm very happy with this camera as I take it everywhere, it's also quite durable, I've dropped it many times and it still works great, doesn't mean you have to drop it on purpose. I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it if you're going on a world trip or an expedition, for example, and are looking for something small with lots of features. Overall this is a small camera but with great features.
