ADVANTAGES: They are beautiful, seem durable and well made. They look the same as in the photo. They look great during the day because the colors are so vibrant and glow beautifully at night. I am very happy with them. CONS: I didn't give a star because they don't include stakes to attach them to the ground when used outdoors. They are very light so they won't be there on a windy day. I would also like the lights (which are battery operated) to come with a timer option. Even inexpensive battery operated fairy lights have a TIMER function. So if you turn them on, they will glow for 6 hours every day. TIPS: Glitter will be everywhere. When using them at home, STAY OUTSIDE to open the package and also attach the lights to the wires inside the gift boxes. When finished, you can place them neatly anywhere in your home. If you use them outside, prepare them outside. Never let them into your house. You will thank me for that. Also, don't forget to check their sizes. They were perfect for what I was looking for but if you are looking for great garden decorations this is not it. * The weather was pretty mild so I'll see how they handle the wind, rain and snow.
