I've had a ratchet strap for about two years. I had the brown one but it was worn out from daily wear so I decided to replace it with black (I reused my buckle). I like the ratchet strap. It's super easy and works all day. I don't know if it can be recommended for workers who crawl under houses and bend/lift over things and pull hard on the harness, but that's only because I haven't tested it in these conditions. For an office worker or normal everyday use, the thing is great.
