Installs as suggested: Center Post POSITIVE, Outer Post NEGATIVE. Check all of my electrical connections with a standard 12 volt electrical tester. Make sure all connections are tight and watertight. Installed my ANKER car charger https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VH84L5E/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and thought I should give my phone some juice. Luckily I didn't go too far as the Anker charger EXPLODED and that was it. I now have a dead car charger that I also need to replace (which worked after the 18 month warranty).
