I bought a body kit that comes with a razor, a skin guard clip and a trim clip. I feel the razor works alone on my face or on any smooth surfaced skin ie chest, legs, arms, face and even the pelvic area. The clip trim did a good job of keeping everything short when it came to shaving armpits or wherever a short groom was needed. When it came to shaving my balls, I used the guard on the razor like I should (you're going to be in a lot of pain without it). He did his job well, but he seemed to have trouble shaving hair that was on the thinner side or hair that was down instead of up. I kept having to isolate and run over these hairs and sometimes I still couldn't catch them. Now I have sporadic hairs on my jewelry that a razor can't catch. Original Philips Body Groomer electric shavers cut all hair types better. I give Philips OneBlade and Bodykit 4 stars. It's good, it's decent, shaves fairly closely with and without a skin protectant, but not as quiet as the real body groomers that came before it.
