STMNT Beard Care Beard Oil, Natural Oil Moisturizing Formula, 1.7 oz I've had a beard for as long as I can remember. And as an older person, that's a very, very long time. I have sensitive skin and shaving really irritates it. So I get around that by not shaving. Also, I like to have a beard. With Covid forcing everyone to change their lifestyle I haven't been to a normal barber for almost a year. My beard has grown quite long, almost the size of Santa Claus. One of the difficulties I had was trying to keep it hydrated. I've never really bothered with grooming my beard as I usually only keep it a few inches and normal skin oils take care of your facial hair well, but when your beard starts to grow really long it's quite a long gap between your skin face and beard. The first thing that struck me about this moisturizer/oil is the smell. While the smell isn't entirely unpleasant to me, it's just too, too strong. I know some people like their perfumes and cosmetics to smell strong, and for some it's a good idea. That way I can smell their approach while they're still far away. But for me this smell was too intense to use this product. I tried it once and while it moisturized my beard a bit, the burning sensation in my eyes and subsequent headache made me shower through the smell to wash it off. Unfortunately, as much as I would like, I cannot recommend this product if you are sensitive to odors.
