The kids really liked this toy. You want to buy one for each child if you have more than 1 child. I bought for swimming and children's pool. I also put it on their water table one evening to keep them occupied while the adults talked. They played for at least an hour. Runs on 3 AAA batteries, not included. Cons: You need a tiny screwdriver to open and remove the battery cover. When I changed the battery the second time and used it in the bathroom, a whale had water inside. It was not possible to drain the water and it did not turn off. I had to take out the batteries. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars because it's not completely waterproof. But Amazon sent a new one and I hope no more water gets in.
