Slightly larger than real

These are lovely sandals but they are slightly larger than the description says. My daughter has a short swollen foot so I had to go down a size from the appropriate size for her age, which I did in this situation, but they were still slightly larger. I managed to attach the Velcro in a way that allowed me to tighten the shoe a little more. They appear to be quite flexible and soft to walk on.
