I bought these because they were from Rugged Ridge (a good company that makes quality Jeep accessories as well as other 4x4 accessories). sure.) and I was not disappointed with them. I have a Wrangler 03 and one of the few downsides to these cars is that some people have trouble getting in and out of the back seat. I took this pair of handles and placed one on the center top arch (between the sound modules) and it gives you something to hold onto to get into the back. I placed the other in front of the roll bar on the passenger side so that you can hold onto something when you get out. However, it is almost impossible to mount them upside down, so I would definitely recommend that you remove the top for easier installation. There's no reason to buy more expensive models from companies like Mastercraft, because they do and their lack of flashy branding makes them look more like original equipment. I also avoided the cheaper ones because if my friends and family grabbed these things and used them as a prop to get out of the jeep that was lifted and they couldn't make it, it would be a bad fall! All in all, this is your best choice, if you can find a good discount on durable ridge rails, be sure to buy them! You can place them anywhere. I've only given some guidance on mounting locations, but they are adjustable to fit any location you need a grip.
