Bought because I was throwing away a laptop with a "half" (30mm) mSATA SSD and wanted to keep the drive as an external storage option. It gets the job done except for one thing. There are holes for a 30mm mSATA drive, but there are no risers on the board nor hardware to securely attach it to the board. The drive still fits and works in the case; All you have to do is push it in and hold it while you move the board around in the case (think of it like a friction fit). The included cable uses a proprietary connector on the side of the case (as opposed to something standard like USB or USB-c). So don't lose it because you probably won't find another one.
