I've had this laptop for about 24 hours now so remember this is my very first impression of it . The performance is excellent for a notebook of this quality. I tested this by playing Minecraft on the highest graphics settings with long chunk load distance and it worked like an absolute dream; Constant 60fps and the floor didn't even get warm! However, you should be aware of one thing: the fan is quite loud. There's a keyboard shortcut to limit the fan's output so you don't have to hear it all the time, but I could hear it from another room while the house was quiet before turning it off. So if you want to play high-performance games, you just need to know that the fan needs to be pushed hard and it will be noisy. So just put on your headphones and you should be able to mute the sound pretty well. The SSD is pretty fast. , I've noticed a huge difference in boot times for everything after migrating from an old hard drive. The screen is very high resolution and all my wallpapers from my old computer look like 360p on it so I had to find some true 4k images and they look amazing. The resolution looks amazing by any measure and I'm sure it'll handle almost anything you throw at it. The laptop isn't heavy at all for what's inside. I didn't weigh it but just to show you when I received the package I thought at first it couldn't be a laptop because it's so light. The battery seems good, I haven't had a chance to drain it more than 50% and I'd happily spend some more time to give a full review of it, but it's fine for anything with low power needs and gives several hours on half a charge. Although I would connect to any game like any laptop. The body of the laptop is pretty solid, not like a military tuff book as it looks, but still nice and solid. The keyboard is very good, the keys are made of super quality plastic and they have very soft clicks even when typing hard. Also, the LED rainbow lighting is such a treat, I felt so great turning it on like I was a real MLG player or something. All in all, this laptop is a dream come true. It's so powerful for the price you pay for it. I would guess that this is one of the most powerful mid-range and low-end laptops you can buy. I paid a lot more for an Asus 7 years ago that was about a third more powerful, so it's nice to see how far the technology has come.
