In short, this is a great laptop. It can run most games on high settings (like Monster Hunter), some on ultra (like The Witcher 3), and after a RAM upgrade, nothing I put my bet on causes lag. This is a beautiful machine with beautiful graphics but after an hour of use you can literally boil an egg on it - it gets so hot. I contacted Revain because I'm concerned that prolonged use will melt the wires and stuff, it gets so hot. Definitely not for kneeling use 😬

Fan is LOUD! I have a 1 year old Lenovo with similar specs that compares very well to this laptop. Performance seems okay, but I'm not sure I'll keep it up due to the loud fan noise. This laptop is great for casual gaming and generally works great so far, but unfortunately my computer's audio jack is broken. This laptop can play most games I play albeit not on the settings my desktop supports, but it can be portable and most games on great settings right after play unpacking. and being under $1,000 is a lot. After a good game and observing resource management, you might need to buy an extra stick of RAM, but other than that, it does the job. I've had this laptop for about 24 hours now so remember this is my very first impression of it . The performance is excellent for a notebook of this quality. I tested this by playing Minecraft on the highest graphics settings with long chunk load distance and it worked like an absolute dream; Constant 60fps and the floor didn't even get warm!
