Works similar to my Kitchenaid mixer

My daughter now lives in her apartment, cooks a lot more and her hand mixer just can't keep up. I have a Kitchenaid (KA) blender and I really like it, but I really didn't want to spend $300-400 on a blender for them. I did some research and found that this has similar characteristics to my KA model. This is a great blender for beginners that works very similar to my blender. It has a sleek and modern look and looks great on the counter. The outer structure is made of plastic and aluminum, so it is very light. This is a big plus because my KA is very heavy and awkward to move. Being very light it is useful to have 6 suction cups on the bottom to stabilize it during use. They work great and keep the mixer from moving during use so it doesn't accidentally spill when you're hitting at faster levels. The high-performance motor is powerful and not very noisy. The speed knob rotates smoothly and is easily adjustable. There are 6 different speed settings that allow you to switch from using the dough hook at low speed to using the whisk at high speed. The top of the blender folds back making it very easy to change attachments, attach and detach the bowl. It also has a tilt lock to ensure nobody breaks their fingers while working. The 8.5L capacity mixing bowl is made of high quality stainless steel, strong and durable. It has a sturdy handle that makes it easy to carry. Not only do you get dough hooks, whisks and whisks, but you also get a protein separator and spatula. All accessories and the bowl can be washed in the dishwasher, making cleaning a breeze. I don't know about my daughter, but what I like best is the splash guard. There is no such thing in my KA, but it would be very useful. I like that it's attached to the blender head and not the bowl. It even has a hole so you can add ingredients while blending without making a big mess. I am very impressed with the functionality and performance of this blender. It's worth every penny and then some. I know what I'm buying when my 20 year old KA finally dies.
