This is a reasonable tote for 15-20 pounds or less. Its actual dimensions, measured prior to use, are 19 x 13 x 5 inches (smaller than stated. The handle length is 26 inches. I can fit 25 pounds in a bag and pick it up, but I wouldn't trust it to last that much to wear like her The colored bottom of the bag is a separate piece, not the best way to make it, namely make a canvas bag out of one big piece and reinforce the bottom with colored fabric at the seams to close the bottom at the sides The colored stripes don't go around the bottom, so they don't help support the bottom - they're just cosmetic.
