I LOVE this for my trunk! I didn't cut any of this mat because we put our kayak paddles in the trunk of my Ford Escape and I wanted to make sure my entire trunk was covered with the mat. The rubber is good, heavy, and I like the tray in the middle of the mat to keep water from sloshing over the edges. It is non-slip and sticks well to the trunk carpet. As I said I left the sides long so I can fold them over the sides of the trunk for a tighter fit and they fit nicely in my trunk. I love this rug and love how affordable it is and you get exactly what the product description says. I strongly recommend you try this. The company even contacted me after purchase to make sure the mat was what I wanted and fit.
