We bought this for my son's 8th birthday. He loves to! It is easy for him to operate and charge it by himself. We wish it had a longer run time, it has a 40 minute charge for 5 minutes of battery life. The on/off switch is a button, not a switch. My son broke it thinking it was a switch but it can still be operated with a paperclip or pen. I gave the company my feedback and they sent a replacement drone, thanked me for the feedback and said the engineers are working on a runtime issue. Overall a very fun toy for all ages (my husband and I managed to fly a couple of times ourselves) and excellent customer service from the manufacturer.
