Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Sakura 30381 Pigma Micron Blister Card 03 Ink Pen, 0.35-mm, Black: Ultra-fine Tip and Fade-resistant Ink by Trisha Phillips

It's kind of a niche pen, but it's good for that niche

I recently bought this pen looking for the 'perfect' affordable pen. Micron is pretty good but definitely not perfect for my needs. First of all good: The pen draws clear lines, bold, even, without spots and streaks. The ink is archival quality, making it well suited for long-term use. The nib is very thin, so I can see it's great for fine drawing, fine writing, kanji, etc. Poorly? There is no speed on his side. The felt tip means I have to hold it a certain way to get it writing the way I like, and it's square in shape so I don't usually *want* to hold it. The design is good, but nothing special. If you're looking for archival ink and a marker-like feel (think Sharpie pen), this is it. I would give this recommendation over fine-tipped pens (which I use occasionally for one thing or another), but for everyday writing or marathon writing, this pen just doesn't cut it.

  • Calligraphy Pens
Cons
