I've become a Sephora addict for everything else, but this has remained my eye makeup remover. I use cotton pads instead of cotton swabs and find they work better. I get no balance or anything after using this. Waterproof mascara has never been a problem for me either. I dampen a cotton ball, fold it in half (don't know why I started this) and sweep my eyes inside out to capture all the shadows, eyeliner and mascara in one swoop. When wearing heavy, dark colors, which is mostly the case (black, royal purple, etc.), it takes me two or three strokes, but it takes everything away. Cheap and effective!
