Review on ⚡️ BATIGE USB 3.0 Panel Flush Mount Extension Cable with Buckle - Single Port for Car Truck Boat Motorcycle Dashboard - 3ft Length by Fernando Hudson

I have a 1991 Toyota MR2 with radio/CD/AM-FM as standard. My goal was to give my car a more modern look while keeping it as original as possible. I tried three different USB options for my machine. The first was LECMARK Universal 1.5m Flush Mount Wire Cars 3.5mm USB AUX Headphone Jack Socket Assembly Modified Jack for Volkswagen Toyota Car (2nd pic). I had to alter one of my blank perforations to fit. While it looked and worked fine as a USB port, it wasn't compatible with Android Auto. Then I took out the cigarette lighter socket and plugged in the BATIGE USB 3.0 & 3.5mm cable for car mount, 3.5mm + USB3.0 AUX extension for dashboard, waterproof mount cable for car, boat and motorcycle - 3 feet. It worked like a champ but I wasn't happy with the look. Although it fit where the cigarette lighter assembly was, I was no longer able to use the surround backlight that was there for the cigarette lighter assembly. It worked, I just didn't like the way it looked. At this point I was rather discouraged. I ordered a dual USB cable for my FJ Cruiser and it worked great so I found the same type but in a single USB configuration and ordered. It arrived, I tested it and lo and behold, it works with Android Auto! Then I took my only remaining blank, cut out the center to fit the connector and installed (first picture). I tested it after a full install and it worked like a champ! Overall I am very happy with this product and it is one of the few that is compatible with Android Auto. Yes, I could just run the head unit's USB cable to my glove box, but who wants to use the glove box all the time? Not this guy. Anyway I'm happy now and that's the main thing.
