Bought these pom poms for my daughter's first birthday. It was the social theme of ice cream and the pastel colored pompoms were just gorgeous. I have experience with the setup but they can be a problem initially. Also, their fabric is thinner than those sold in Party City, so they're more likely to tear. Of course, they cost a lot less, so that didn't bother me too much. You just have to take the time to spread out the paper. And in general, torn places are easily hidden in a pompom.
