I'm a total novice when it comes to handwriting. I draw and paint and write in cursive (which I'm learning, it's not the same at all) but handwritten lettering is just beginning to be explored. It will take you a few tries to figure out how to deal with it. However, the tip is ultimately more user-friendly than some of the other brush pens I've tried. When shutting down, they creak (sorry, I didn't get into the video, I saved everyone from the household hype). The colors are juicy, any imperfections are easy to correct. I sincerely believe imperfections will help improve your technique. I am happy with my purchase, especially since I need to save money for my hobbies. (I have so many lol) I compared them to other brush pens I have that I don't like at all. It's probably because I'm a newbie. But I find that the Crayola brush tip is much more flexible.
