So even drying the rayon fabric on a lower temperature setting could also cause some amount of shrinking." It went onto say that it could shrink up to 2 sizes, and then suggested dry cleaning as the way to clean it.So, I ordered a large, and it fits me perfectly. I had lost a bunch of weight so it really brings out the best in me. Now that I am laying on the compliments, the snowflake navy color is really impressive. It smacks of high design/fashion. I could see wearing this with a nice pair of light-colored slacks. It is nice enough looking that you would instantly consider it one of your favorites, and wouldn't hesitate to take it to the dry cleaners, even though that is not something I normally have to do.When I first tried it on, I thought maybe I should have gotten the extra-large, and that is why I Googled the question about shrinkage. I would advise you to move up a size. I'm only 5'6" tall weighing in at 154 pounds and the large fits me like a glove. All in all, I love the way this looks and feels, and will be saving it only for special occasions, or that special someone.
