Great light to medium weight quilt! It's very difficult to find a blanket that has volume and isn't too hot. It's almost perfect for what I wanted. Despite being relatively light, it has the volume I was hoping for. And while it's light enough for all seasons, I think I'd choose a duvet if it was 72 degrees in the room. We tried this out ourselves for two nights and then added a 100% cotton duvet cover. The angled hinges work great, keeping it right where it needs to be without shifting during the night. We've been using it for almost three weeks now and couldn't be happier. Machine washable is also a big plus in our book! Somewhat anecdotally, it even survived when our 50 pound dog caught a case of "Zumi" and threw himself on the bed and jumped around like an idiot before jumping back out of the room shortly after we first saw him had time to lie down on the bed. Bed. No scratches, cracks etc. so it seems to be quite durable as well.
