They've only had them about a week but so far so good. They're a little smaller than other three-prong mechanical timers, and the way you set the on and off times with the slide/push tabs around the face is also different, but they work well. I bought these to use in my tank for CO2 injection with a solenoid and light controller, but I tested them on a table lamp for a few days first just to make sure they worked and kept accurate time . They seem to be counting down over a few days, but as with any type of 24-hour timer, you need to check it regularly to make sure it hasn't lost or extended time. This is an inexpensive solution that works when you need a three pin timer! The only reason for the minus star is the short service life. I usually only give a 5 rating once the product has proven itself over time.
