TLDR: Buy this for vacation, you will love it. One problem is always asking people to take pictures of you on vacation. Bluetooth controller and tripod fix this problem. Once you've connected your phone to the Bluetooth controller and placed it where you need it, simply open the camera app and press the button. A photo is taken each time you press the button. I tested how quickly the camera responds to a click and it's almost instantaneous. The quick photo sequence works flawlessly. And if your camera is set to video, it will start and stop video when you press the button. I tested it with Android and iPhone and it worked on both. The tripod is strong and easy to position. also comes with a go pro mount which is very cool. The camera holder has a small piece of foam that will protect your phone from scratches if dented. I also have a Google Pixel 2 that launches the Google Assistant when pressed, that was my biggest concern. I don't have to worry anymore, the mount squeezes the phone just enough to hold it in place even when you're walking around with it in the mount, but is sensitive enough not to trick the Google Assistant into picking up to press my phone.
