This collar was recommended to me by a friend who has used it successfully so I bought it hoping it would help my dog stop barking at other dogs while walking. She loves other dogs and can walk on a leash with familiar dogs, but gets too excited when she sees an unfamiliar dog. Unfortunately, my dog's anxiety increased with the use of this collar, even when we were walking one of her canine friends. She began to tremble on walks, she began to bark not only at dogs, but also at people. When we stopped using her she stopped shaking and barking but continues to bark at unfamiliar dogs. I'm sure this works for a lot of dogs, but it wasn't a good option for us.
