Well I've been using them in the field for a while now so I can give a real review. First, they're inexpensive, so don't compare them to expensive radios. I haven't broken one yet despite the hard life I've given them, so that's good. They're fully programmable through the laptop, but not on the device itself, which is good. I can pass this on to someone who doesn't understand radio and not have to worry about them hitting frequencies they shouldn't. They receive and send well. They are lightweight and the battery lasts all day. They have detachable antennas so you can upgrade them if needed, but the stock antenna works fine. As I said, these are cheap radios and therefore hard to beat. If someone breaks, it's okay. Yes I would, but I plan to do it again. If you are looking for good, cheap and functional radios, look no further.
