This adapter comes in very handy for those who need an Ethernet port, an HDMI port and multiple USB-A hubs. The only complaint is that it gets very hot after a while, which hasn't affected performance so far, but I've only had it for a couple of weeks. Overall it works great with the Surface Pro 4 5 6 and does everything it promises. Very accessible and minimalist design. Make sure your laptop doesn't have a case that might impede access to the Surface Pro's built-in USB port and display port, and make sure it's snug to ensure a good connection.
