When we received this comforter it was our favorite as it was super soft, the perfect shade of blue and the perfect size. However, our experience has been that it sheds its threads even after multiple washes. We also tried cleaning but that didn't help. Very disappointed as we really liked the look and feel of the comforters. Also, the fibers from the blanket fell onto other clothes that we still couldn't remove with tape and a lint brush. Another important aspect is that after removing the blanket from around our babies, we noticed less sneezing and mucus secretion, which while not conclusive, could be something in the fibers of the blanket that was irritating our baby.
