Like so many others here I'm sick of paying for a haircut every few weeks to go almost bald. I've been shaving my face with a blade for decades and love the smoothness, but I was willing to sacrifice this if it worked on my head. And it works! The unique shape fits my hand perfectly, much better than wand-shaped handles, and I can shave my face and head in 6-7 minutes. It shaves satisfactorily close all over, but tends to pull painfully in the mustache area. If that mustache is longer than about 0.5 mm, prepare to wince a lot. Battery life is great; I get 7-8 shaves on a single charge, which equates to around 50 minutes of battery life. The construction seems quite solid, but I was disappointed to see that the three tiny drive shafts for the blades are made of plastic. This is supposed to support "wet" use (in the shower or with shaving cream), but feels cheap and certainly means shorter life for the bars. The shaving surface can be easily removed for basic cleaning and disassembled for thorough cleaning. . Like most other cordless razors, it doesn't work when plugged in (less a technical limitation than an attempt to protect the manufacturer from legal trouble if a fool electrocutes himself). ; A simple USB connection would work just fine. That means you have to pay what Remington is willing to charge if you need a replacement. PROSA delivers the close shave you expect from a rotary shaver. Great battery life. Easy to clean/maintain. Painful pulling in mustache area. TIP Do not press hard on face/head; it works great with a light touch.
