Review on Sennheiser HD 206 Closed-Back Over Ear Headphones - Discontinued Model by Hiral Yadav ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.

+ - Wire length - plus. For the house - OK, for the street, in principle, it can also be rolled up - the wire is not thick and quite flexible. It comes out from 2 sides - definitely a minus. Just in case, protected from kinks. Why they didn't make a normal wire is a big question. For movies, music (not dance), YouTube, games - they are perfect, given their price. Different pros: + Price. About 1300-1500. + Acceptable sound quality. For the money - excellent, 4/5 in terms of sound for sure. Comparing with expensive models ($60+) is pointless. In terms of sound, with a normal source, these Sennheisers are among the best in their segment. Of course, it is necessary to use an equalizer, especially to equalize the high frequencies as much as possible. There is enough bass, there is no distortion, as in many "DJ" or the same Philips and JBL from competitors. + Great fit. You can easily sit for hours without taking off! A good example compared to, for example, the HD 205 or JBL 450. The new ones did not press at all + quite light. + Adapter for 6.3. Although, in this case it is better to use not such budget headphones. + 2 year warranty. + No microphone/volume control. Higher reliability, no need to repair. Has some cons - Materials: ear pads, headband and generally plastic. Not much different from any Defender, Sven for 600r. Most likely they will become a sad sight in a year, we'll see. - A sound card is desirable, otherwise they will not play too loudly, not to mention the nuances of sound. - Not the best soundproofing. But it's better than the "vice" headphones.
