Good wood and finish. And I like the design. There were poor instructions, but assembly seemed intuitive. I liked how they packaged the parts so you don't lose them and they give you extras on top of that. But the included screws are flimsy and not up to the task. They use Phillips pocket clasps made of very soft metal. The screws are also not self-tapping and the receiving parts are not pre-drilled. After partial assembly, I had to cut and remove three screws. I then took out my Kreg pocket screw set and finished the assembly. If you buy this, ditch the screws. # 7.1" fine thread Kreg screws worked instead of small screws for everything but the countertop. It didn't hit the tabletop. he barely punched through a hole. So either use a small spacer like a lock washer or use an inch to pre-drill and then replace with the 4 small screws provided. The six long screws provided are about 1 3/4" long, but I used 1 1/4" fine thread Kreg #7 screws and glued them to the dowel pins. I would suggest using #7 1 1/2" fine thread screws for extra security. Also, use a square head screwdriver that is at least 6 inches.
