I use these to deliver bottles to brewing competitions and friends. They're much easier to use than bubble wrap and don't add plastic to the waste stream. Never had a broken bottle. I use stretch wrap to wrap the container. Closed media 4x4x12. They fit in standard shipping boxes. The 8x8x12 box holds 4 bottles without additional packaging material. If I ship 3 bottles, I just put an empty container in place of the 4th bottle (8x8x12 carton). I sent up to 6 pieces in a box (8x12x12).
