Review on π§ Dorman 902-5190 Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing for Acura/Honda Models: Optimal Temperature Control Solution by Joseph Scalea
Some need improvement.
To fully tighten the thermostat screws, three holes must be drilled with threaded inserts. We drilled the end so it was open at the other end and screwed a tap through. The thermostat screws were driven down and the original had the holes all the way through to allow the screws to be secured. Luckily we had a drill press and a tap that was the right size.
