I like that it has many features, including code editing/viewing, built-in FTP server for uploading files etc., ability to create HTML5 templates with CSS3 options which was not available in previous versions of DW, very good UI design (not too cluttered).
It takes time getting used to its interface but once you do get accustomed there are no downsides really at this point. You can use any version from CS6 or higher for free trial period so if you want some more advanced functionality then go ahead without worrying about license fees. We needed an online editor solution as we were working remotely and couldn't have our team members using local machines while sharing development work space - hence why we decided upon DW being one such option out there.

- Not much customization possible.
- Can be slow sometimes during startup times due lack hardware acceleration capabilities
