Okay, I was skeptical about the amount of light advertised by others in the reviews. I installed them on my 2018 Dodge Challenger and now I don't know what I did without them. I will say that when I first installed the bulbs (no standard shields as they are not needed with these cold bulbs) they were so bright they were almost ridiculous. I tolerated the brightness for a few days and plan to remove it next weekend or rotate in the connectors to reduce at least some of the light. But I'm really used to the extra light and wouldn't change it now. On the Challenger, the driver and passenger side lights are positioned close together to illuminate the center console. As far as I know now, I'm considering using one of these for the passenger side only and then fitting the red version for the driver's side. This gives the driver the option of using white or eye-friendly red light if additional light is needed while driving or stopping - just an idea, but useful. be removed for better directed light.
