I have a couple of arcade machines; I have a Vision Pro monitor in my vertical cabinet. It worked on 486-66 with an Arcadevga graphics card, but the computer started to crash, so I was looking for a way to switch to a more modern setup. With this board I was able to run almost any 640x480-1024x768 VGA signal and convert it for an arcade monitor. You need to connect it to the RGBS pins, so get ready to make a cable. The quality is also bad at 640x480 and 800x600, but "acceptable" at 1024x768. It's not as pretty as direct display control, but it REALLY allows me to have a very modern fanless IE solution with moving parts. The manual is useless, but basically it works if you connect the wires correctly (red, green, blue, ground, sync), no fiddling to save or adjust settings to boot. Basically, using a real arcade CRT with a modern emulator is the cheapest and easiest option, as long as you're willing to sacrifice the output quality.
