I said earlier that it was "useful, reliable", but I was too quick. I bought one a while ago but only used it briefly. Computer. used one for mouse and keyboard, the other for three Seagate hard drives. The mouse worked fine for a while, then became sluggish or could skip a long distance. The keyboard randomly entered reps even after I increased the interval, which gave me a fairly quick set of reps (20?). After unmounting the rest, removing hub and reconnecting, I lost another disk (they stayed where they were). Other erratic behavior, everything works without the hub. Will try another device and keep fingers crossed.
