California King 1.5 inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper First of all, I hate being a whiny shopper. expand to full thickness, width and length. We opened the mat the day we received it and let it sit for 4 days before trying to put it on the bed. It grew to 1.5 inches but was only 69 inches wide and long. x 78.5". The ad says it measures 70" x 82". The Cal King bed actually measures 72" x 84", which means we have 1" on all 4 sides would have had freedom, but we felt comfortable with it. What we got was 3" too narrow (1.5" per side) and almost 6" shorter (3" top and bottom). The foam itself was memory foam, but it wasn't dense enough to provide any support. It would be used on a new memory foam bed which is too firm for me and I was hoping it would soften the bed a bit but it doesn't because the foam on the hips and shoulders is against the mattress The memory foam being pressed was also a different color (cream, not blue/white) than what is pictured on the website, so maybe that means it is not the same foam as advertised. I don't want to upgrade to a 3" washer (makes the blade harder to install) but I may have to. I'm sorry but it didn't work. Outside.
