I love this blanket! It also appears to have magical properties. I wrap myself in it to watch something on TV and fall asleep immediately. It gives off a comfortable heat and shuts itself off after about 20 minutes for safety reasons. I washed it according to the instructions, it washes well. If I had to criticize something it would be that the wires wouldn't be as visible if the blanket had some sort of inner lining. Another improvement would be access to the main cable on the side of the ceiling instead of under it. If you want to turn on the heating, you have to reach to the bottom of the ceiling. However, I love the duvet. It's soft and snuggly and feels like a warm hug.
